Happy Birthday Bubba!!!!

Today, is Shane's birthday.... He is now 23!!!!

Shane is still going to school to become a Paramedic. He just finished his didactic part and is now starting his clinical part (Hours in the ER). So in addition to work, he is gone 3 days a week for 12 hour shifts in the ER. An example of how busy he is:

Today (his birthday) he is working a 24 hour shift
Wednesday - 12
Thursday - 12
Friday - 24
Saturday - 24
Sunday - 12
Monday - 12
Tuesday - 24
His next day off is next Wednesday!!!

I only see him when he gets home at 8 PM to sleep!!! :(

I think he is doing way tooooo much and I know he is going to be in a really grumpy mood real soon...

Anyways, this blog was suppose to be about me expressing my love and appreciation for him.

Shane:

You are the best husband ever!!! I love how hard you work to give me what I need and want. I'm so glad that I was blessed with a spouse who have dedication an passion in everything that you do. I love that you always think ahead in planning our life and even though I might not like certain aspect of it, I know that you are doing it more for me than yourself. I pray that Heavenly father will bless you with the opportunity to be hired onto a Department as a Firefighter, so you can do what you love. I love you!!!! I'm so proud of you!!! Happy Birthday!!!!

Graduations!!!

This is graduation time!!!

Photobucket

3 of my friends graduated recently and it got me thinking.... It's crazy to think that 4 years ago, Shane and I were just graduating from high school. And now, I'm married in the temple to my bestfriend, have my Bachelor degree, a job, a home, a family of dogs and hopefully soon,
A REAL BABY!!! (cross your fingers).
Heavenly Father have blessed me so much and I'm so very grateful that I was able to meet my eternal companion at such a young age and that my parents raised me to always plan and organize my life so that it WILL, all fall into place, like it did for me.

I hope to all of my friends that graduated, that they may find jobs that will make them happy.

Congratulations!!!

Also last week, Shane and I welcomed home a dear friend of ours, who has been gone on his mission in Georgia. He is finally HOME!!! We really missed him and glad that he is back home with us. Now we just need to find him, his eternal companion!!!!!

What's wrong with this picture???

Faith in God

I was recently called to be a Faith in God leader. Yesterday, was our first meeting and when it was over, I needed 5 excedrins.
WOW!!!! Girls are loud and crazy but fun too!!!
Anyways, I have to say, my other calling as the Nursery leader is much easier.

I have 8 girls and all of them want to go first in everything we do. Which is great, but not when they're all screaming "ME FIRST, ME FIRST" in my ears. But I have a solution to this. Terri recommend me to write out their names on notecards and randomly pick names. I hope this will work. I think it will.

Honestly, beside the throbbing headache. I love this calling. I get to feel young again. The girls are all awesome and I'm excited. As my sister told me when I called her to vent, she simply replied,
"Well, I guess Heavenly Father wants you to work on your patience."
And I will work on it.

But, I would love some advice and suggestions if you have any. Thanks!!!!

I made a basket of prizes for when the girls pass off each Article of Faith... They loved it...
